Wonder

Listen, to each of those tiny drops of rain
Whispering an iridescent pattern of shallow notes
Take note as wonder takes its course,
Let there, amongst everything,
Be magnified beauty in the silence of a tempted heart
Swift motion, has every entitled crevice
Witness the marvel with such divinity,
The elegance of creation itself
Bestow upon mine eyes the sea that roars to life
And what life prolongs deep within its fathomless depths,
Take our breath wonder,
To lurk between jungle and desert
Within oasis and skyline,
Open minded to brighter ideas,
Ideas that leave me alone in wonder
Wonder for this world itself be left untouched,
Yet unmakes by mankind
For man destroys the wonder creation preserved.
