Woke up to love

I woke up to love this morning. I looked it deep in its eyes and traced it's cheekbones with my fingertips, I laced my fingers through its locks, and placed my lips to his. I tasted all of his desires and inner most secrets. Love pressed his mouth to my ear and sang me a melody of sorrows and triumphs, I listened intently, for I'd vowed to take love with the good and bad. Every note that creeked out, each lyric that streamed down my soul like wine, I received and drunkenly sang along. Our tunes intertwined and out came the most imperfect, harmonious duet that you ever did hear. Love sang me a new tune each morning, it rose up with the sun and sometimes the rain, but it rose nonetheless...and that's all I could ever ask for.
