Wishes

My wishes

It takes one who is strong to survive on Earth
It takes one who is brave to withstand the stress of this unfair world
Bad people seem to be more comfortable
Than we that choose the path of truth and goodness
Good people tends to suffer more from betrayals and back stabbers
Hurtful words goes non stop on them
But they still choose to do what is right
Loving one wholeheartedly only to get hurtful words and deceit
What have I done to deserve all these
For I came innocently to the world,
And my path of greatness was prophesied
Only to grow in this world full of hatred and greed
You hope for too much! Face reality is what rings in my ears
Waking up everyday with wishes that someday will be better
But it's getting too long cos I'm scared I cannot longer hold on
This is too much for me to bear
Survival in this world is truly a war
What else can I say
Than to spill out these bitter words from my mouth
My eyes pouring out ceaseless tears as I wish for things that seem impossible
Luxurious life I wish
Wealth with no ending I pray
Joy with no end I see
But I still imagine if I can still get all these
Cos this life is a battle to face
