Wishes

Mon, 04/08/2019 - 16:26 -- Weestro

I wished a thousand dreams but they never came true.

I wished upon a star but it only broke my heart.

I wish one man would teach me how to fish.

I wish someone would show me what I've missed.

I wished only for one wish.

I just need one to come true.

I never believed that man when he said wishes are for fools.

I wished for a home to keep out the rain.

Really I just wish I had somewhere to stay.

I wish some people would get to know me.

Instead they look and walk right by me.

I wish for love instead of hate.

I wish someone would take my place.

I wish my life would just change.

I can no longer hold these weights.

Is it a crime to be in this state.

I wish no more cause I don't see change.

Because I am the one who has to change Everything.
