Winter Greed

The snow's an inch above my knee
But i am warm if you tell me to be
My toes are black and blue
not that those colors are new to you
You're standing here in front of me
Crying and saying you're sorry
I stand here
with snow above my knee
With the heart shaped ice pack
you gave to me
You keep saying it wasn't ment to be

You're standing with a box of my things
That overflow like the tears of a song
I stand here with snow above my knee
With the heart shaped ice pack
you gave to me
Wondering why you want to leave

I remember the time i tried the same

Who else would want you?

you will always be mine

you ungrateful creature

I'll always remember your screams
Standing by where I lay
curled in on myself
like the pathetic creature you always claimed me to be
Listening to my old records play
Trying to block out the pain
as i whimper and cry

You're right

i'm sorry

i love you

I stand here with snow above my knee
With the heart shaped ice pack
you gave to me
Im cut by the wind that burns my skin
Wondering why you started regretting your sins
