THE WIND IN YOU

Wed, 01/31/2018 - 03:29 -- elenin

I hear it,

The wind,

Blowing slightly, picking up speed.

Lightning, thunder,

Imminent rain,

leaves swirling, crashing against the glass

rain pouring, I open the door,

to feel the gust, whipping against my face.

I am not afraid, I feel content.

i know you have returned to hold me again.

I will stay, to feel you close

Till the night breathes you back.

Leaving me crying, like the tears from the clouds.
