wind, moon, y sun

The Wind Is

the wind is blue

the wind who cools

the wind shoves

the wind braids my hair

the wind tangles my hair

the wind blows my tears away

the wind who in her absence leaves both hope and despair

The Moon Who

the moon who is forbidden from kissing her lover

the moon tells stories

the moon sings lullabies

the moon is brighter than the sun

the moon wipes away my tears

the moon gives what she is never given

the moon who yearns

The Sun

the sun kisses her lover every morning

the sun burns who she wants when she wants

the sun grows and harvests

the sun feeds us

the sun dries my tears

the sun is tired of her anger

The Truth Is

they are sisters

they are sisters who love each other

they are sisters who hate each other

they take care of one another

they mistreat one another

they are the wind, the moon, the sun, el viento, la luna, el sol

and they will always be.
