Willing Prisoner

Keep me a prisoner in your Pulchritude

So that I may forever know, in thine eyes, your alter of solitude.
To gaze into the depths that you confide
And to descry the welkin that there within deeply reside.
Where angels soar with plumage of unspoiled silk
To drink upon your kindness that be like the honeysuckles milk,
Where I find the meaning of having strength of a soul
That fills me with such wondrous hope like a overfilling bowl.
Such conquering beryl eyes! Such ever expanding azure skies!
With lips like roses, and skin like tulips, you are ever so calm.
Even with uncontested life that hold with such delicate palm?
I'm sure though that the inside your heart flutters like a butterflies wings
And your poetical mind wishes to sing,
Though with delight can you explore
The classical page, the muses lore.
It will never be as half as blessed
As the light you spread with such unhindered zest.
For I may render all I see
Into palatable melodies,
But you can beat upon this heart
And with a single smile show its smart,
As if you be some drug designed
To banish all other women from my mind,
I beseech thee
Please remain as the Halo of my memory.
