Wildflower

A simple beauty,
A symbol of strength ,
Its pride runs over ,
At a very fast pace.

It's as wild as a wolf,
It's as gentle as a breeze,
A blazing glory there is,
That can hardly be touched .

But carelessness pays,
It is armed with thorns
and tangy smell,
It'll laugh while you're bleeding,
As your skin gets torn and swollen.

Be amazed by its pose,
For it is trodden yet stood still,
It holds ardent, mystical secrets,
Its loveliness leaves you breathless.
