For Why Do I Love You?

For why do I love you?

Is it because of your soft, warm, inviting smile that ignites the smoldering embers in my heart?

The waning feeling that falls upon me when I can no longer hear your voice or the beat of your heart under my ear when we embrace?

Or is it simply because you make me feel as though the only ones in the cosmos are us?

For why do I love you?

I love you because you are you.

You are special and important.

You make my heart soar with admiration and gratitude in your eyes when you gaze at me.

For I do love you.
