Sitting alone in the classroomWhy is she always the last one?Everyone's outside enjoying their lifeWhy is she always the last one?The lights are turned off and the music disappearedWhy is she always the last one?But when trouble comesWhy is she always the first one?Yet the teacher scolds the studentsWhy is she always the first one?The others are spreading rumorsWhy is she always the first one?Feeling like her body is too heavyWhy is this happening to her?Her thoughts breaking down her emotionsWhy is this happening to her?She sits back in her seat,Is this the end? A boy slams the door openWhy is he shouting?"You may think you're the first or the last, and that you're alone when all this happens, but in my heart you were the first and the last to make love happen in my life!" He stands in front of her, holding out his hand.Why..."Let this end start a new beginning." He smiles as she stands and takes his hand, replying with a grin, "Why not?"
