Who is She

Wed, 02/11/2015 - 14:50 -- am7597

Under these heavily shadowed eyelids are green eyes that cry a lot

Under her curled hair is a mind that overthinks things, with constant anxious thoughts

Under this lipstick is a smile that is curved to hide the pain

Under the clothes is a girl who doesn’t like her cellulite ridden skin

Under all of the fake and the front, there is a girl

A quiet, thought burdened girl

She has worries and burdens that she tells no one about

Fears and anxieties that terrify her more than she would even say

There is also a girl who likes peanutbutter sandwiches

She likes to read

She is a huge baseball fan

She loves the way sunlight feels on her skin

There are many things no one knows about this girl

But she knows how it feels to move mountains for others knowing the wouldn’t push a grain of sand for her

She knows what it’s like to have your world crash down around you

Most importantly, she knows how to smile

She knows how to love

She knows how to ultimately push past the bad and see the good

She knows who she is deep down, and that is all she will ever need
