Who knows the answer?

Psalm 62:5

My soul, wait silently for God alone,
For my expectation is from Him.

What to expect when walking in your room?

Only your eyes seem to be unchanging

I don’t understand the constant drive for gloom

that always seems caught in rearranging

It seems not fair the seasons of your life

Who knows the answers but the Truth?

He is always there removing all strife

and is so visible in the things you do

How to observe peace when the battle is raging?

How to be at rest knowing the battle is won?

You surely understand the right of petition

if we take for granted what the Lord had done

You understand the purpose of the condition

You seem to see far beyond the now

You need to understand the right of petition

that most of us misunderstand somehow

“Not Your will but mine”, a daily consternation

It should be Yours, just Thine that guides me through the day

Deeply instilled, defined ... neglect of obligation

as depravity blooms in rhyme to the desire of my way
