Who I Aspire To Be

Your rationality is one of the things I admire the most about you

From your reaction to Brother when he crashed your car

Of open arms, forgiveness, and gratitude that he was okay

To the many extra hours you spend at work just to put me through school.

The things you've taught me

Even when you're not paying attention

Like your tendency to stay patient and calm in every situation

Your habit of showing thanks to every person who gives to you

And your acts of kindness

I hope that someday soon

I can show what I’ve learned from you

And become like you as a person

To make you proud
