Who I am #NoFilter

I am quick to anger,

Fire rages inside me.

But I'm quiet, I'm mellow,

Even when my mood

Is feeling quite yellow.

There's no one around me

Who's quite like me.

Try all I can, I remain different, despite me.

I think too much and remain thoughtful, reserved

Yet I quietly accept we receive what we deserve.

It might not appear so to the untrained eye,

But I have learned it as the years go by.

To sit and to watch, to learn and observe

This is all I desire to do, for sure.

Of this I am convinced there is no cure,

So please don't judge me,

For I am far too insecure.
