Who I Am

Who I am…is who I will be tomorrow if I don’t let yesterday change me.

Who I am is an introvert with a wall large enough to give a dam.

Who I am is a pacifist ready for a fight, an ocean with a storm on its heels.

A hurricane with nothing to lose but everything to gain.

The light at my tunnel may dim but never fades.

I walk away with perception of my past mistakes

I take them in; make a tidal wave of memories that could soon wash up onto the shores of wisdom.

Let them evaporate, float, pick up pace in a Jetstream to those who need it.

Who I am is a bullet ready to be the only one in the chamber.

The one to save lives rather to take them but everything has a price.

This is why I’m a bullet.
