Who I Am

Location

I am not who I was
I am not who I'll be
But as for who I am
I can say that I'm me
I'm blunt but I'm loving
I'm scarred but still standing
And I've felt my share of pain
I've made it this far
I've got places to go
I've basked in the sun
And I've sung in the rain
I write what I feel
Because sometimes I can’t say it
I give my heart to my friends
And when I promise, I mean it
Loyalty, faith, and a lot of love
Are the codes by which I live
To my friends, family, and my Lord
I offer them all I have to give
My life is a long, winding road
A new door could open, another could slam
But no matter what happens or where I go
I know that I am who I am
