I do not define myself by how many road blocks

have appeared in my way

I define myself as a hardworker that I've found to forge new roads

I do not define myself by how many flaws I've faced

I define myself by the forgiveness and the faith that I have regain again

I do not define myself  by how long a relationship will last

I define myself of how much I love and will love again

I do not define myself by how many times that I have been knocked down

I define myself by how many times I get right back up

I am not pain

I am certain that I am not my past

I am that girl who has emerged herself through life
