Who Am I?

Who Am I?

By personality?

I am the type of person

Who can befriend anyone

Whether short, tall, big, small

Loves to read, or loves to ball

Why, you say?

Because it doesn't matter to me.

Who Am I?

By nationality?

I am a proud Jamaican

From the land of food and water

A long history

And a rich culture

Why, you ask?

Because that's how God made me to be.

Who Am I?

By mentality?

I am lazy most of the time

But knows when to put in work

To get what I know I need

And I know how I can succeed

Why, you may wonder?

I don't know, that's just me.

Who Am I?

By relation?

I am one half of a wondrous creation

I am a twin

With a good foundation of sisterly love

Even though we have botherations

Are we rare?

Well, no and yes.

No, because we are one pair of many in the nation

But yes, because we are unlike the others, which makes us the best.

So who am I, you rattle inside your mind?

I'm not sure. I think that's just for you to decide.
