Who am I?

Location

Brie is a thinker, a poet, a cheese,

A listener, a riot, a lock with no key,

A loner, a friend, an open door in the cold,

A light in the dark, sometimes meek, sometimes bold,

A face in the crowd, and an ear for the deaf,

A voice in the silence, and a deep, calming breath,

A joker, performer, an uneasy smile,

Form of an adult with the mind of a child.

She’s a shot in the dark, and a small pinch of luck,

A lover, a fighter, and best friends with a duck,

A John Lennon-like dreamer, a piece of fool’s gold,

But bright like a diamond with a heart that’s been sold,

A piece of the puzzle, a change in routine,

Someone’s worst nightmare or midsummer night’s dream.

Or she’s just a small girl, with a good side and bad

Who grew up in a home lacking a mon and a dad.

A confused adolescent, still finding her way,

But will wake up and be independent someday.

She’s a student, a teacher, or one in between

Who may go through life noticed, or may never be seen.
