Who Am I

I am a prophet in my own words

Seeking out opinions unequivocal to my own,

although I am free to roam, like a caged bird I stay close to home

waiting for dreams to grow but seeds went unplanted and water unable to flow

I am a drifter upon my own sea, with only the current of my thoughts and the feelings of my heart,

which are forever sought to push me.

I am a lost dog without a tag to define me or an owner to tell me who or what I am.

I am the wind, unrestricted by laws with scientific cause;

I am the ocean, calm and serene, thrashing and violent; forever reaching out and inspiring others

I am your mother, your sister, your brother, a significant other

I am the sun, the moon and the stars

I am larger than life

I am the world

I am the galaxy itself

I am infinity

I...am you
