White Velvet

Location

Why can’t I find a love, be loved, give love as pure as White Velvet?
Does such a thing even exist?
If so where can I find it?
Or should I never mind it.
Am I blinded?
Is my mind clouded?
A shear veil shrouds it.
You say I can’t
I say I can
You say you can’t
I say you can
Then pick ourselves up and begin again

White Velvet.
Bury me with it
Don’t think of it as materialistic
More so optimistic
What has been disappearing
What was I born with that has gone missing?

White Velvet.
We won’t forget you
A beacon of hope for this black soul to run to
To look up to
And ultimately burn through
I want it back, that White Velvet
Do you get it?
We all do
Erase the sadness inside you
Replace the darkness that consumes you
With White Velvet
So where can I find it?
Where can I find it?
Bring back the kindness
Make me rewind this
Help me retwine this
Black Velvet
