whispers

BEHIND THESE WALLS whispers there is a room behind these wallsI hear whispersbehind these wallsthe hush noises seep throughsuffocating, drowning, destroyingwhat makes such soundwho cares so less behind these walls there are whisperswhispers that become so loudit boomswhat was it that need whisperswhy are they now shouts on this wall I knockon this wall I cup my hand to place my earon this wall I look for a windowon this wall I search for a dooron this wall I write "I beg for mercy"will mercy pass from behind this wall my arms spread open to embrace these wallsmy chest rests against these wallsmy heart beats through these wallsmy head hits the side of these wallsmy tears roll down it what are these whisperswho hides behind these wallsmay they pass from that side to thisis that what they wish today I hear silenceI have moved from the wallI can no longer hear the hushed noisesbehind these new wallsI hear whispersbehind these new wallsI hear peace
