Wheres the butterflies and rainbows?

Wheres the butterflies and rainbows?

The urge to cut builds up each night

And it just doesn't feel right

Everything she could ever want but the darkness around her is like a depressing haunt

The world isn't all happiness and joy

Everyone treats her like a toy

And instead of bright beautiful butterflies

Theres the insecurities that whisper dark little lies

Or the rainbows that fade away leaving it to look so great

The world is dark and sad

And she learned that lesson when she lost her dad
