Where I'm From

I am from color

From different medias

I am from different shades and tints

Thick, thin, smooth and shiny textures

Of different hues

Lots of shapes and sizes

Of what others could use

It is a work I remember

As if they were my own.

I’m from notes

From different measures

I’m from a staff that is read and written with pleasures

From loud to soft

I’m from acoustical settings

While listening carefully upon.

I’m from an image

Very commonly visual

From the boards and screens

From the boards and screens

Whether flat or physical.

Under my bed was a video

Flashing back memories

With good vibes years ago

To drift beneath my dreams

I am from those individuals

Discovered through creative notion

And character with passionate devotion.
