Where I am From

I am from freedom.

From the bursting fireworks

To my religion.

From where the flags wave freely

To the soldiers standing undefeated.

I am from bravery.

From the Navy on sea

To the Army on land.

From the Coast Guard on the waters

To the Marines on the dirt.

I am from religion.

From going to church

To having youth group.

From being self-centered

To being God-centered.

I am from Obama.

From his almost outlawing guns

To his confession about being a Muslim.

From America is bad

To America is even worse.

I am from Donald Trump.

From his fighting to make America Great

To his every decision in politics.

From thinking, America was doomed

To hoping we have a chance.

I am from America.

From the bravery of soldiers

To the freedom of religion.

From the hopelessness from Obama

To the hopefulness from Trump.

I am from America- My home.
