I am from the evenings of dreading the next day of school,

to perpetually wishing it was Friday

I am from a canvas,

full of gold and blue hand prints

I am from a leaf of my family tree,

the voives of my ancestor leaves whispering in the wind

I am from the constant stories my dad tells,

"When I was a boy"

I am from a fridge full of home made maple syrup,

and organic everything

Too the days when thier is too much on my plate,

and not enough time

I am from the morning cup of coffee waking me up in morning,

like the constant buzz of an alarm clock

I am from the imaginary stories I read,

because my life is my setting and I am its character

I am from the coldest to the warmest days,

the temperature constantly changing forever undecided

I am from this world that mother earth has created,

and now us creatures have destroyed our creator

I am from unchonditional friendship and love,

and from the people who make it all worth it

From where I am, to where I am from,

I am me and that is what makes my life
