Where are you

Where did you go after you were swallowed by the soil?
Because even though you left a bump on the ground
As though it were ready to give birth to you all over again
But does that mean you were born into death
Where did you go after you were swallowed by the soil?
Because I too want swim in the dust
You see i don't remember you yet am reminded of you
You left a wound in my heart that can not heal
On my soul a scar whose depth I cannot see
Where did you go after you were swallowed by the soil
Because even when I am alone I see your shadow next to mine
When I am scared I hear your whispers in my ear
And whenever I show up people say they see you inside of me
Tell me where you are so that I find you
Because every princess needs her king
Teach me how to bite the dust so that we can reunite again
You see I always thought you would bloom from the ground like a flower
Where did you go
Because I miss the one I never knew
And with you I would never feel so blue
For you I want to swim in the dust too
