where are we going
whose mind is open
they will receive beauty and great pain
knowledge kills its givers and forever replaces
its sons.
it partners eternally with song
that green leaf which will eventually fall.
and no one knows where it hides
for it doesn't, but reposes in solemnity
and howling laughter in the midst of this nation.
and the ones who seek
(they believe)
are the ones who blind
and eventually they will perish
They were seeking the truth!
o gods, carved in your stone walls,
thank the crawling things that you are
inanimate, and will never live to this
darkness.
