When The Sun Comes Up

Location

When the sun comes up
I shall wake and tell
All of those who will listen.

Of what happened that night
When I stayed awake
Watching the moon make its' rounds.

When the sun comes up
I shall wake and tell
All of those who will listen.

That night is a time
When the stress of day
Escapes from the soul.

When the sun comes up
I shall wake and tell
All of those who will listen.

That all who still wake-
They can find their rightful place-
And stay 'til the sun returns.

When the sun comes up
I shall wake and tell
All of those who will listen.

Of the story of my adventure
The fear that left me alone-
returning not 'til I was ready.

When the sun comes up
I shall wake and tell
All of those who will listen.

That the dark may bring fear
To those unaware
Of the joy of the shadows.

When the sun comes up
I shall wake and tell
All of those who will listen.

That the day might bring angst
To those who don't know
That night takes the dread away.

When the sun comes up
I shall wake and tell
All of those who will listen.

I want them to hear
That night takes the doubts
And gives them to the winds.

When the sun comes up
I shall wake and tell
All of those who will listen.
