When I was Young

Tue, 05/07/2019 - 10:25 -- 221556

When I was young,

I lived life to the fullest

No worries

No pain

Just freedom

When I was young,

I played games

No judgements

No bullying

Just fun

When I was young,

I enjoyed the out doors

I had friends to play with

I was accepted for who i was

Without exception

Without hesitations

I was accepted just because I was a child

But now that I am 17,

I realized

That the world is a twisted,

Sick and cruel place.

No matter what i do, no one will accept me,

Unless I conform to the trendy ways of society.

Only If I am invisible to the popular votes

I only wish that society didnt change,

That I was still young,

And accepted,

And loved.
