When Death Finally Hits You

Location

Darkness over flows your mind
Bringing all the best memories back
Knowing that their gone forever,
And never coming back
Realizing that the fact is the fact
Understanding the way of life,
You live and you die
Whether it be by gun violence or silent cries
The V becomes bigger in violence
Never knowing whether you’ll make it home safe,
It’s a Maybe, Maybe not thing
It’s something that hurt to know,
That a love one or friend had to go
Where more hate than love begins to grow
Violence must slow down then STOP
It’s ruining my chance to live life abundantly
Can’t walk where ever, or even travel the world
And once it was a girl,
My friend, one shot, to the back,
And now she’s never coming back
It’s sad to feel, or even talk, just had to realize the fact,
Violence does Act
It destroys homes and school communities
It can destroy anything
Leaving you with only the memories of the past,
And it all happens so Fast
But As I grow to know it’s something that may never Stop
