What's the Cost?

I ask the cost for loving you

The price I pay has come true

I gave my heart to you

but instead I simply blew

Out a candle on a wasted wish
That won't bring you back to me

When you were still happy and

And I thought  you would understand

That one more heart break

Will be my last

I didn't want to repeat my past.

What's the cost of losing you

I lost myself while I drowned in you

Everyday I struggle through

What's the cost, how much will I pay?

I regret us saying goodbye that day.
