What we once were

America was great

Thats what we knew

But changes, changes, changes

Ruined everything through and through

Terror is on the rise

Fear brings hate

So how can us people still say that we're great?

We blame, we riot, we talk with no voice

All that ruin say they don't have a choice

But we do have a choice

We can choose to love,

as we stand as one nation

under one God above

If we keep on this path, detruction is where what we lay

But if we choose to love, then we can lead hate astray

We once were a great nation

We can be again

With one God, with one Country

And everyone standing hand and hand

This poem is about:
My country
