Poetry oh poetry, 

What do you mean to me?

Your words flow like water,

And look so carefree.

You are the reason one can express their feelings,

For we are only mere beings.

You paint a personal picture for each one of us, 

Without making fuss. 

Through your thoughtfully chosen word,

You tell of the obscure and the absurd.

You have never asked not requested, 

But were not uncontested.

You inspire me so much,

That I just wrote a poem about you, as such.
