What is our appeal?

Mark 1:30-31

30 But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick with a fever, and they told Him about her at once.

31 So He came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and immediately the fever left her.

And she served them.

Christ healed Peter’s Mom … immediately she served.

Many now are “healed” … but what do they do?

When the day is gone … what do we deserve?

What is our appeal … in the things we prove?

Do we serve others … or basically just our own?

Do we drive a bargain … to bring comfort to self?

Do we even bother … to care beyond our home

as we count our gains … filling our shelves?

Do we wash others feet … while our own toenails grow

until they are like claws ... grabbing everyone we step on?

A life of ill defeat … sold for some doves

that with little pause … we sacrifice for our own.
