What a Life

I look out into the world with one swollen eye. Some days I ask myself why haven't I died? The hurt doesn't stop. I'm not in any shock. What a life. I'm all grow up and I am free from your hands. You are not worthy to call yourself a man. I have a dream that is much bigger then your plans. What a life. I wake up with a smile on my face knowing I was saved by God's own grace. Even though there was times I had little to no faith. What a life. I will go out and help those hurting. To teach litle girls who are eager for learning. What a life. I came up weak but now I am strong. I know now that no one will bring me no harm. What a life. Nursing is my degree in which I shall go. Healing and protection is what I know. People will look at my past and they will say, "You have come a long way."...What a life.
