What does poetry mean to me?
It's the only way I can truely be free.
No one can control what I write,
And even that privledge feels so right.
People don't know who i really am,
But when i write, they can understand.
Writing has always been my life,
Whether i write with a pen or knife.
It helps me keep what's left of my sanity,
Dragging me out of Hell's reality.
If i hadn't dicovered life in a paper and pen,
I would probably be long ago dead.
It's not just a hobby or pastime,
It gives meaning to life.
Who would any of us be,
Without the sweet esscense of poetry?
It's something i can't get enough of,
It's something i can never give up.
