I need new face wash

My acne is terrible.

I need new concealer,

My skin looks gross.

I need new eyeliner,

My eyes look dull.

I need new lipstick,

My lips look chapped.

The filters only help so much.

They show how I much I want to be someone I’m not.

What do I really need?

To learn to love myself without the filters and makeup.

I know I should.

But it's hard, you know, to get what you want.
