A world of deception and unabashed humiliation

A world desensitized to the troubles of others

A world that shows sympathy to the criminal

yet is incapable of feeling empathy for the victim

What have we come to?

This world filled with violence and greed

The peace and serenity we search for not yet freed

What have we come to?

Our sanctimonious opinions and self-righteous egos

Leaves of bereft of compassion, our hearts hollow
