What education means to me

Location

The world is eager to nurture

This young mind of mine.

Access and ability tingle all at once on my fingertips.

Books, pencils, ballpoint pens,

Enlighten.

It is the awareness of one's surroundings in the world,

The satisfaction and independence that comes from it,

Setting a rumble in complicated thinking.

Heart thumping, veins pulsing,

The exhilaration that instills discipline,

And renders all means to conform useless.

Education constantly places me one step higher.

Learning transforms the common people,

It transforms me.

One longer reach -

Possessing the key to much grander things.
