What do you see?

Location

Look at me; what do you see?

Because I don't think it's me.

I think you see a number:

A grade, a test, a paper.

Is it truly me you like?

Or just that I do the work?

If I fail, you won't catch me,

You won't even see me fall.

Another F, nothing to see,

My tears unseen, you do not care.

I have fallen from your grace,

I have lost my face, my self.

Nothing left, nothing matters;

Silently, I walk away

Until I pass, then you care.
