What Cannot be Hidden

A single lie for the monster in disguise

Another for the broken ones at home

One for who you are

And one for who you can't be

Curtains can only hide us forever

Tommorow will come

Sunlight only enlightening

Twisted words of fateless misery

Why do you come to us now?

Where were you when they came,

With their knives and guns of phrases?

Pain is only an emotion,

Far from those who brandish

Swords of pure apathy

I bid you good luck

I bid you farewell

I bid you tommorow

I hope you bid me as well
