We're Not Free.

How can we be free
When homeless lay shivering in the streets
How can we be free
When we are disgraced for whom we love
How can we be free
When children with guns run rampant
How can we be free
When we’re the ones with the bombs
How can we be free
When we’re the terrorists

The real secret?
We’re not free.

How can we possibly be free
While the victims of Imperialism drape our wrists with chains?
How can we possibly be free
While the soldiers killed in pointless wars tighten padlocks?
How can we possibly be free
While children of dead nations and dead families steal the keys?
How can we possibly be free
While the jailer of the misguided drags us to the gallows?
How can we possibly be free
As the victims of our greed release the platform?
