We're all quite petty

"-but I am just a petty human, writing this on a tuesday,
My legs are sore and stiff, because i have to walk a certain way
My heart is full of pennies, from people wishing so much of me
Each one is a ton, draining down my veins and into the far away sea.
I've never tasted death, or lifted my head above the water
or spoke out at the sun, for the way this world just gets hotter and hotter
separated by the masses lie me and my love
yet still we're resentful of heaven and the sky above
I'm just petty human, of only fourteen,
for some reason that means far too much to me."
