Welcome back

Welcome back, it's been awhile, as projected. I haven't glanced upon your face to see the motive in your eyes, nor have I heard the distinctive rhythmic steps with that certain swagger that has long since escaped me; but you're here. I feel it. So long since your claws ripped my body, or your presence leeched the very essence of joy from my tattered skin. I'm glad that you returned. I feel your presence lingering over my chest, and the few people who dare to hear me already know that something is up. I'm so, so glad that you returned. I look forward to the misunderstanding glares, the broken consolent smiles, the deficit of excitement, the incomprehensible desire for us to be alone together, and especially the utter loneliness that only you can bring so forcibly. I'm so, so, so glad you came. Welcome back, it's been awhile. Enjoy your stay; and remember, leave your trench and loafers at the door, love.
