Did I make a mistake or the right choice?
Choosing myself over your precious love.
I weep and reminisce your gentle voice,
Wishing for clear answers sent from above.
I was trained to be selfish and immune,
when our eyes met the weakness within me grew.
Exposed by feelings that flourished too soon,
followed by heartache with a knife pushed through.
I must admit-- such a gentle you were,
bearing the agony caused by the beast.
Drowned by confusion, it became a blur,
one day you vanished and deceased.
You abandoned my sick delicate heart.
I'm left in the dark with no light to start.
