WE HAIL THEE

We hail thee(by Irusota)

To the children of the Streets
Who sleep under the bridges
Come sun and come rain
Anytime and everyday

We hail thee!

To the once we call posterity
Who's future is shrouded in uncertainty
by the so called political elites
The inhumane inhumanity

We hail thee!

To the little peasants
Who roam the streets daily
in search of food and alms
With nothing in their Palms

We hail thee!

To the voiceless
in the society
Who live in abject poverty

We hail thee!

To the underprivileged
who we call the less privileged
Who go to bed on empty stomachs
With nothing to eat
Lying on empty bellies
And struggling to Live

We hail thee!

To the people
Whose voices have been silenced by poverty and penury
Who live in pain and misery

We hail thee!

To our friends
who are homeless
but are not hopeless

We hail thee!
