The Way it is

When you look in the mirror you see a smile a cross that face

But when the days got colder it began to fade

And while You tried to carve that face back in
You began to see what's beneath it

As the carve got wider the days gone longer
And as days gone longer you could slow the tic in clocks

As you slowed down the tic the tok speeds up

And while tok speeds up things go by faster

While things go by faster you can’t help but go slower

And when things go faster than you they tend to leave things behind

The things they leave behind are usually slower 

So why are you surprised you got left behind?...
