Waste

Dont you hate how things waste away

Here one day, gone the next

I guess everyone has a debt to pay

Laughter and sadness, life and death

This is the cycle of time

Circling the universe like a behemoth

When will we learn

We must create, relate, and anticipate

Or we will mourn more than we yearn

Everday is a missed connection

A city of millions

yet little to no intimate reflection

I pay so much to see so little

I sit in a tower and cower

There is so much to belittle

The world is at my feet

I can feel the tremors of humanity

So many things to do so many people to meet

I shouldnt let it go to waste.
